People who want to be cute do not have purple hair. Hair displays your attitude to others. It might say you want them to like you, or it might say you don't care what they think, or it might be an outright insult. Forget the costume and work on your personal problems.
I have colored hair too! Hair can be a great accessory and form of self expression, please ignore Jewels Vern's comment about working on yourself.
I think a great costume would be Leela from the TV show Futurama! It is really simple, a white tank top, black skinnies, and combat boots. The most difficult part would be creating the cyclop's eye - but just get a white sleeping eye mask and paste a black dot in the middle. Good luck on whatever costume you choose.
