I was on a website and I clicked a link on there,then I was redirected to a site that told me I that it was recording audio and video on my device,there was also several UN symbols in the background.I was on my iPad,it wasn't jailbroken so I couldn't have downloaded spyware,it also said that I needed a code from somewhere to stop the spyware(i think) does anybody have any idea what this was about?

It was a hoax site probably hosted by hackers who think it is funny, this kind of thing usually occurs on the fringes of the legal internet (black internet). If you were accessing something like, a black market place, wares site or porn you might run into this kind of thing. Don't worry about it, it's like a practical joke where you are the joke. You give them money for basically nothing, there is nothing on your iPad unless you downloaded it, so just forget it.
