On my Iphone 4 I tried to get messenger but when I did my iPhone alerted me stating I need version 8.0 of iOS. So I went to update my phone and it said I have version 7.1.2 and it says it's up to date. This also happens with Facebook, snapchat, and Instagram. So is this apple trying to make me pay for newer phones or is there something I can do to make it work on this phone?
