After watching documentaries and reading further I found it interesting that Prince Philip was allowed to attend Gordonstoun which was headed by a German Jew who fled from Nazi Germany. Especially considering some of his sisters were married to Nazi’s. He was baptised Greek Orthodox. Does anyone have any other insight? Was this maybe his fathers decision to transfer him there?

He has minimal Jewish connections.
All 3 of his sons attended that school and because it was a boys school his daughter, Anne, did not. However, both her children did. It was considered far enough away to afford privacy for royalty.
