My dog just had puppies and I have to check every few minutes so she doesn't crush the puppies. Help

When the mother is not sleeping I would put the babies in a separate place. Keep the father away for sure. While the puppies aren't with their mother make sure they don't need her milk, give them a blanket to cuddle with, and maybe a plush toy to make them feel not so alone.
