The Jews of that period had the same objection, that God's son was not performing to their satisfaction. God's response was dramatic: He took His word away from them. Jews today can only get a copy of their Torah by buying it from a Christian printer.
I meant the old testament. The Torah is not God's word. It was written by Jews bent on going one better than God.
