Trying to smelt I've ended up with lots of black glass with gold in it, do I continue to melt it?

I have some pictures of what I have. I have crushed some but having seen much come out. It is very fine gold

What you want is Sparex. It dissolves the flux and leaves the metal smooth and bright.

You need to go to google.com and search "smelt gold" for instructions. It is not a safe or easy process. Not cheap, either.
