What happen to a person with excessive secretion of growth hormones from pituary gland?

Excessive secretion of growth hormone results in following disorders in man-
(1) Gigantism: it occurs due to Hyper secretion of growth hormone in childhood or in pre-adult life before the fusion of epiphysis of bone which shaft. The subjects look like Giants with average height of about 7 to 8 feet.

(2) Acromegaly: it is a disorder in which there is enlargement, thickening and broadening of bones particularly in the extremities of the body. It occurs due to Hyper secretion of growth hormone in adults after the fusion of epiphysis with shaft of the bone. Subjects have acromegalic or Gorilla face, enlarged hands and feet.
