The name can spelled either way, also Aimen and Ayemann, but I think that Ayman is the original spelling. It is a name belonging to a male, a boy, but you could tweak it a little and make it a girls name. For example, Aymana.
It can be spelt both ways. I know people with those names. They're both unisex names. The Ayman I know is a guy and Aiman's a girl.
