Lack of respect for tourism,or appreciation of its magnitude,are among the factors that have hindered the acceptance of tourism as a legitimate topic of academic inquiry. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY OF CHANGING THESE PERCEPTIONS OF TOURISM ??

the best way is to pack your bag and leave for a vacation in an unknown place. try to know the lifestyle of the region. meet the locals. try the local cuisine. i am sure this will enhance the richness of tourism. i guess i was helpful. sorry if said something wrong
