Where can I find someone to interview about immigration to New York during the 1880's?

So my friend and I are doing a project on the Statue of Liberty and we are in DESPERATE need of an interview. Where can we find someone to interview?

The 1880's?  Probably no one....Sadly, America wasn't very healthy at that time so chances are no one's still alive.  You could try the 1930's though, but I can't tell you where to find them.  Ask around.  Good luck!
