I fried some chicken using paprika. It had a "chemical smell" but we ate it anyway. It tasted fine and it was not expired. Just concerned as I dont recall paprika having such a smell. Any experience with this?

When I compared it to another bottle I had on-hand. It was more brown than the red color . Although the expiration date was longer than the one in red. Im guessing I just didnt store it properly but it will be alright....

it could have settled to the point where the stuff that it is made with kinda gave off the smell sometimes it settles and it looks like it may have been thick or clumpy in a way or just sat for a while depending on when you got it sounds like it was okay if it was okay to eat if it has perservatives and other things in it could be the reason it started smelling
