If you think something might be wrong then schedule an appointment with your doctor asap and also an ultrasound.
Some cramps are normal in the beginning as the uterus is growing and stretching and later on "practising" for labour. You might not feel the child until 20-25 weeks, that has to do with where the placenta is located.
