The parents of the landlord live in the house a block down the street, and they are constantly driving past the house so they can snoop and see what's going on and then they report back to their daughter. They are constantly driving really slow past the house especially if we are outside and they will even stop and get out and take pictures of our cars and they will especially make their rounds if we have people over. One of the neighbors told us that they saw the husband snooping around when no one was home, but we don't have proof that he was on the property. My question is, is there any legal action that can be taken? My roommates and I are tired of receiving phone calls and messages from the landlord about what needs to be done around the house. We live in Oregon and have a 1 year lease. I know this is one of those situations but if there is anything we can do I would appreciate any help or advice.
Can I legally stop landlords parents from constantly snooping?
