So my SONIQ TV (Australian), which I've had for about a year now, just randomly started to spaz out with its visuals. It flickers CONSTANTLY from a clear picture to black, sometimes warping the colour for a moment. Is this something I should get a professional to look at or is there a simple solution? And I've already tried with my brother's TV to check if it was a bad cable.

If it's flickering to black, then there is an internal corruption where the Hz speed has been decreased. This is most likely from a burnt out electricity inhibiter in the main panel where color is transmitted. You Should hire a proffesional do diagnose the problem. There isn't any simple way to fix this.
