... completion had just 1 one-1hour class left) but stopped going due to drug problems and the agency i was attending wont allow any of the credits i'd accumulated to be used towards a new enrollment and completion. can i fight this ? I'm in recovery now and working very hard to rebuild my life and I feel like I should be allowed to still use the credits I'd accumulated from this program with some sort of reinstallment fee. They won't allow it. Any advice ? It was 4 1/2 yrs ago when I last attended

It has been 4 and a half years already. Forget about the past and live in today. Start now and work for those credits now. I doubt that you are going to remember much of what you learned while you were high. I am so happy that you are in recovery NOW! That is so wonderful! Don't keep letting the "credits that got away" bother you or it will bring you down after you have come so far. It isn't worth it. Go forward, not backward for our lives move on and so do others.
