I supposedly have polycystic ovary's syndrome. I have regular periods every month every 28 days but I got pregnant had a miscarriage and since then I have a irregular periods. Is it possible that the doctor missed lead my diagnose please help me I really want to have another child before the miscarriage I had two beautiful baby boys one about to turn 6 and the other 4 1/5. This is really driving me crazy because before I had the miscarriage I had regular periods I just don't understand how could I have PCOS and Didn't have it before

I would recommend that you go to a different gynecologist and get a second opinion. Technically you can't really suddenly develop PCOS, you either have it or you don't, but how severe the symptoms are can vary drastically at different periods of your life. You might have had it all along, but the symptoms were so minor that you never even noticed it until the trauma of a miscarriage made them worsen. Pregnancies and miscarriages have been known to change how severe PCOS symptoms are in some women, in varying levels and varying directions. However, it is also possible that you have been misdiagnosed. A second opinion will either get you closer to an actual diagnosis, or will confirm what the first doctor told you. Either way, you should feel more confident in the diagnosis or direction you are headed, and it will be easier to figure out how to deal with the symptoms you are having now.
