Can my boss force me to use WhatsApp and be part of this group and could he take action if I refuse? Everyday there are over a 100 messages and when I'm on a day off or on holiday I constantly get questions about work so I feel that I never switch off. Recently my boss had a go at me because I deleted the app while on holiday. He told me it was part of being a manager and that I have to have it otherwise he could manage me out of the business. What's the legal view?
