If I looked up something in private browsing, is the info still stored somewhere on my computer?

Someone is working on my computer and tends to be nosy and look through the computer to see what they can find.  If I was looking stuff up while in private browsing is there anything in my computer that would allow him to still find out what I was on while in private browsing?  If so, what part of the computer stores that information?

Well I'm not an expert but, no one will no but your internet provider will know but they don't check out anything unless it's threat unless you copy and paste words you should've been fine
