My stepfather put a lockbox over our thermostat so he can keep the heat on, however the house does not belong to him. Is that legal or does he have to ask the person who owns the house?
the person who owns the house he is tampering with property he souldn't mess with if its not his you could have someone come out and break the box off or release the mechanism removed but its not something he should be doing
