Why is it that Micro SD memory card not detected when i connect it to my Android phone while connecting it to my computer the Micro SD memory card works. My phone is Cosmos Z. Pls help, thank you.

Do you have this problem with other Micro SD cards, types or sizes?
Check on your PC (Windows?) to see if the card has formated with NTFS by accident. This I believe is incompatible with Android which is happy with FAT16 (older cards under 4Gb) and FAT32 (which Windows usually formats all portable media for greatest comparability & efficient use of space).
Often it is either a fault memory card, a corrupt system file on the card itself. You can try putting card into a card reader on a PC and reformatting. it then replacement of the card is the only real option.
Another possibility is that your phones card reader is sensitive to certain makes of card, does this card work on other Android phones?
As you can see, the technique as with most problems, is to identify the fault by isolation & substitution with the known.
