My daughter is in 4th grade and has a boyfriend should I let hsr have one?

4th grade boyfriends are usually just "special" friends, be supportive of the friendship, but limit any serious contact. Calling him a boyfriend is perfectly acceptable in my opinion.

I agree, as long as they are not doing anything inappropriate then let your daughter remain boyfriend/girlfriend.

I wouldn't see anything wrong with it I think its something fourth grade girls start doing the boy is a boy and hes a friend it could be something that they are going through and its just something they go through sounds harless unless they start something but it sounds harmless.

I don't see why not. It opens the door to create trust between you and your daughter when it comes to these matters. It gives you the opportunity to teach her responsibility and make her comfortable talking to you about boys now and in the future when it becomes a bigger deal. Most kids date wether parents say they can or not. If you are supportive of it then at least you can create a dialogue with her rather than create a relationship where she feels she has to hide that aspect of her life from you.

Yes just let her have one because if u tell her she can't have one she will do it secretly and stuff will happen they will start kissing at school so just leave it but make sure u keep a close eye on them
