George made a difficult decision at the end of the novel. Do you believe he made the right choice? Why or why not?

Are you referring to the fact that he shot Lennie? If so yes he did, by shooting him himself he was able to comfortably know that Lennie wasn't going to be beaten and or tour tired by the crew coming after them. He made it peaceful and a quick kill. Although it was a hard decision it basically saved a lot of pain.
