What can be done to close the gap between urban and rural areas ?

One of the gaps is access to information and experiences that develop the mind in the rural areas. If education that is more innovative and provides information on human nature and encourages better critical thinking, entrepreneurial ideas, creativity instead of for example worksheets at the desk and waiting in line , that would bring mental strength knowledge, wisdom and motivation. Providing every household with internet would be helpful too. People watch a great deal of TV, more responsible programming that is conducive to solving conflict not by sword fights but by cleverness and learning may be helpful to some also along with embedding cultural and scientific basic knowledge. Supporting the NSF-National Science Foundation which give grants to students and others trying to make life better via scientific advancement and universe exploration can extend to some of these people in rural communities as well.
