What happens if I send a parcel through the post box with only a letter stamp on it?

Will it just be at the post office? Will it be lost in the post forever? I accidentally posted two items through the post without realising you would have had to put a stamp on it according to the size and weight of the package !!

If you wrote all the necessary information on the parcel, you should be fine. ;) In general the postal service is amazing and close to never loses anything. I don't know of you are going to need some additional fee for the delivery but otherwise, no problem.
