Not just telemarketers, but people in general. My mom's friends always seem to "know" the exact second we sit down to eat, and it's just so rude. She never says, "We're eating, can you call back later?" she just talks at the table.

Well justpassingthru,people use there phones and electronics WAY to much nowadays.
Electronics have lured people into using them because they are so interesting.
So when people use there phones during supper it usually means there not interested in whats going on,or they are doing something like: texting,calling,facebook,tweeting,or intstagraming.
