I live in northern NJ and have recently been seeing 3 snakes around my driveway- I think they made a den out of it. I looked at them closely and searched some pictures online. Seems like one is a garter snake and 2 are ribbon snakes? Is this possible, are these 2 species likely to share the same living space?

They can live together as they are both mostly harmless snakes but I would never have any 2 snakes live together as they can fight or just get stressed. If you keep 2 snakes together it is very important that you make sure to have 2 hiding spots in the cage or they might fight over territory. I am very experienced I have had 10 snakes in the past and have 4 now. I am an intermediate snake keep.
