Is there something wrong with my hands?

My hands are always cold and often go numb. My nails will also turn a light purple color where the nail meets the skin. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Your circulation is probably compressed somewhere, possibly around the collar bone area. You can go to a physical therapist, massage therapist or chiropractor to free up the compressed areas and relax the muscles.

If it's as extreme as raynaud syndrome images show, yes.
Otherwise, I've found it to be more of a nuisance than hazardous. Iron deficiency anemia seems related to these effects, you could ask for a blood test.
