Just wondering because I'm getting a new computer and I want to install my Sims 3 game on would it work? like the serial code?. Or do I need to get a new Sims 3 game and all the expansions combined??. Thanks.

Basically, for the Sims 3 to be installed completely, it will ask you for a serial number that should be on the back of the instruction booklet. If you have expansions, you must do the same.
But yes, you can install The Sims 3 on multiple computers.
If you bought it on Steam, then all you have to do is install Steam on the other computer, then you can view all the games you have purchased on Steam and you can install it lickity split.

Then simply re-install The Sims 3 on your new computer or wherever you wish to put it and re-paste all of those folders back to where they originally were. If you have any saved worlds, patterns, or even hacks located in the C drive than you need to keep in mind that you have to copy those to
