So I'm currently writing a story that involves a young adult getting involved in gambling and ends up owing debts to a mob family and so on. there's this part that I want to write, it's an intense card game. I sadly don't know much about cards and i really need help writing this. it'll involve the protagonist getting caught cheating and all that. but I need help from someone who knows how to play cards

There's so many different card games someone could cheat at, If you want a more serious game then I'd go for a casino game:

- Poker
- Black Jack (21)
- Pai Gow Poker
Just google the rules and I'm sure you could come up with interesting ways of cheating. Examples could be hiding cards or using hidden mirrors to spy on the other players etc.
