A guy I liked said I was physically attractive but way too geeky for him to date. I admit that I love to cosplay and go to conventions. Gaming and comics also have allot to do with my interests, but is that an unattractive quality for a woman to have?

well for some it might be a little over board i think it to has things to do with a person wanting certain dating qualitys which some have higher expectations some guys like that in a girl others don't i think they are being picky in thoses ideas all have different ideas in what they want a potential date to have their loss your gain
if the guy says your way to geeky for him then f... him hes not good enough for you because I bet you r the most prettiest girl in your school but the d... boy cant see that because the only thing he sees is that u go cosplay,conventions,gaming, and cosmics. sweety theres nothing wrong with you theres some thing wrong with him.
I sometimes think the same thing: Am I to nerdy/geeky to like or go out on a date with??? I really really REALLY like superheroes, and I think (probably am) a geek when it comes to that specific category. But I also think that everyone is different and has different characteristics in life. I don't think it is bad or anything to be geeky (is that even a word???) about a subject. I would probably think of it as an advantage sometimes. Maybe she (or whoever) had a question about that "geeky subject," then DING DING, you will most likely know the answer. Knowing a certain subject can also be one more thing to talk about on dates or whatever it is. In conclusion, I think you OR ANYONE is too "geeky" or nerdy to be dated or however you want to put it. Girls 90% of the time TRY HARD to find an attractive male to date. You would be great in this instance. The more attractive, the more likely you are to be dated, no matter how "geeky" you are about something like gaming and comics.
MY GUESS IS THAT IT IS NOT AN UNATTRACTIVE QUALITY FOR A WOMAN TO HAVE, ESPECIALLY IF 2 PPL (couple/bf & gf) WERE "ALL GEEKED OUT" ABOUT A CERTAIN SUBJECT. ALSO, IF YOU'RE ASKING IF A WOMAN WOULD BE ATTRACTED TO A "GEEKED OUT GUY," I WOULD SAY DEFINITELY!
