I have a roommate who has 10 geckos in tiny plastic cages in our shared bathroom. She feeds them once a month and never cleans out their cages. Can this make me sick by breathing in the feces through the foul smelling air?

it won't make you feel good i would do it in a well aired area ventalated area will cut down on having to smell it which would be better on your self as far as smelling it for two long its better to clean the cage this way cause it can also be odor free in some areas you won't have to breath it in
Yes, it can make you sick. But my question is, why does your roomate have 10 geckos living in a plastic cage being fed once a month. That may be animal cruelty. Bathrooms may not even be a safe place to put your reptile. Please tell me what geckos they are and what their cages look like. Also, if the feces, (or poo) is there for a long amount of time, I think you should avoid smelling or breathing the feces.
