i hold an indiana driver's license and i change it to texas license when i move to texas. However, the officer did not give my old license back. Can i ask my old license back or the department has policy to keep it? Thanks

sometimes they give them to you but they punch a hole in it so you really can't use it for nothing but id mabe i think you would have to ask them for it i know someone else that got to keep theirs but like i said they punched a hole in it i don't know if they have other rules to they follow so i think it will also depend on the one in your states and what the laws are concerning it in texas
Do you think I can return to office and ask about it? I just afraid they throw it away already.
