Hi, I met a wonderful person this year. A Brazilian person who does not speak fluent English and I do not speak Portuguese. I would like to send a Christmas card with a message in Portuguese. The message I want to write is this-
“hello
This year God crossed my path with yours.
Time continues but I will never forget how I felt in this moment. With you.....
......Truly happy.”
I have translated myself and have the following, but can someone tell me if it is correct? Or if there is a better translation which might sound nicer in Portuguese?
“Este ano, Deus atravessou meu caminho com o seu.
O tempo continua, mas nunca esquecerei o que senti neste momento. Contigo.....
...... Felizmente.”
I really care about this person so I would really like to be sure I have this right and the sentiment comes across in the right way. I’d be so grateful for any help.
