In both short stories, "The thing wrapped around your neck" and "Tommorow is too far" by Chimamanda Adichie I need help creating a thesis on how the character are the same (how she creates them) or how both short stories are similar.

Break down the two texts into simple pieces.
What are their plots? How does each story progress? Who are the most important characters? What are their characteristics? (personality, the choices they make, the people they like/dislike, their relationships, etc)
Once you've answered those questions you should have a basic idea then on what is similar between the two stories/characters, and you should be able to write your essay.
