My brother has a hedgehog which he keeps alone in its cage. Today we saw that his eye was very swollen. When my brother picked him up he started moving and the eye started to bleed. I think he punctured himself in the eye with one of the spikes that they shed. Can someone help me? The bleeding hasn't stopped and it has been almost 15 minutes. We are really worried. Is there anyone with the same problem?

i would clean it with like hydrogen peroxide just dabbing it then call a place like petsmart ,petco or a pet shop and ask them what they think if you can't get it to stop bleeding you might have to take it to a exotic vet where they take care of theses kinda animals more exotic then anything else he injured it probably trying to do something you might have to hold something on it till it stops bleeding i would monitor it and see if it straightens out but i would call someone that might have a idea whats going on with it
