...  Philippines, but I am afraid that it is going to be pointless because if I graduated there I might have to take it again here in Canada.  Do I have to take entrance examination or do I have to repeat college here in Canada?

well try researching it if they accept that kind of but i know nurses that in Canada that study in the Philippines

If you get your nursing degree outside of Canada, then you  will have to take other  nursing courses here to get your accreditation - and those vary from one province to the next sometimes.
