i've been in the us last time and i did not know i had any relatives there. i just figured it our when i was about to leave us already. now i'm going to apply for a us visa again and if i change my family information to "yes, i have a relative in the us" should i be subjected to us visa denial because it did not match my first visa application? please help. and my relative just got an american citizenship recently. i think. so yeah please help. i'm going back to the us for internship not tourist or anything.

it is not possible to change information on a DS-160 after it has been submitted, there are two options for creating a new DS-160 and effecting a “correction.”You have to made new application and submit again and once the changes have been made, save and submit the new application.
