My mum loves horses she always has done since she was a little girl and for just over 10 years I have been horse riding even though I never enjoyed it and I still don't
I am 14 now and when I was younger I used to get woken up early to go and ride in horse shows and I have no interest in them. Some people love horses loves riding them and grooming them and I just have no interest and it costs money. And I am upset because all my mum wanted was a daughter who loved horses and I feel like I have disappointed her. I have been pretending to enjoy it for a long time but I have better things to do and I don't like riding.
How do I tell my mum I have no interest in horses?

Sam678, this is a hard thing to deal with, just because your mom likes horses doesn't mean you have to, just tell her how you feel, tell her gently, make sure she understands how much you appreciate her doing so much for you to have you ride but it's just not for you. She will understand. You can do this I believe in you good luck :)
