It's not so much actually being in the dentist's chair per se, but it's the fact that I'll have to be in it in front of others.

I'm still in school, and we have a mobile dental clinic that comes around annually. It's a pretty small van, with just enough space for two dental chairs and a couple of people to stand around waiting for their turn. There aren't any curtains or anything, so everybody can see what's being done to you and hear what the dentist has to say. It's this that worries me, I'm incredibly self-conscious.

Does anyone have any tips? Thank you in advance!
