I told my girlfriend that her singing never pulled me into her world. WHY IS SHE MAD?

I told her that when she sings I was never pulled into her world. I never felt like she was singing to me. I told her this doesn't mean that she doesn't sing good enough. But to her it means that her singing isn't good enough. I am in a band. I lettered in chorus. My opinion means a lot to her. But I did not mean this in a bad way. HOW CAN I PROVE THAT THIS IS NOT A BAD THING? IS IT A BAD THING?

Just tell her that you didn't mean it in a bad way and that you like a different style of music than she does. Tell her that she is a good singer but you like different songs than she does.

You can tell her that you didn't mean to hurt her feelings but that's about it

She's allowed to be upset about whatever she wants but you don't need to feel guilty because all you did was tell her your personal opinion
