I believe someone may be logging into my Instagram account from a different device. I am wondering if I am being paranoid. would Instagram notify me (send an email) of a suspicious log in if it occurred and if so, can it tell me the IP address of the device?

I had a friend that got a notification when there was "suspicious activity" and it said "Someone attempted to log into your account" from there on you change your password so the person cannot get in your account (If they attempt to again) but what makes you think someone is trying to get in your account? Give some examples. Instagram cannot tell you the account or the IP address of the person that tried to log in.
