Research for a story im making- 23 year old girl and 40 year old man meet at work then they start dating she enjoys his experience he enjoys her energy but her family doesnt like it so im asking is that too big for an age gap?

Yeah it would. My friends parents were 14 years apart (divorced now) and the man had an affar for about a year b4 they got a divorce. If the 23 and 40 year old go anywere I think thatll probably happen to them.

If they would to be in love then it doesnt matter about age, but maybe lowering the age from 40 to 35 would be less frown apon i guess i have nothing against people who date older people but i think it would be more believeable

The majority of the answers are no and I agree with them. There is no wrong with those age because they are in legal age and it sometimes happen so it is realistic. 17 years is not too much for me.
