I told her she can’t overdose on antibiotics. After some back and forth, she said that the UK has a different meaning of overdose than the US. So “please don’t tell me I didn’t overdose”. My sister works in the medical department and when I told her, she laughed.

I don’t see how it can be a different meaning in the UK from the USA. One time, she took like 6 antipsychotics and said she overdosed. I told her she didn’t overdosed but she wasted her pills that she needed. My main question is, is there really a different idea of overdosing between the USA and the UK?
