My iphone 5 unexpectedly shut down after me being outside when it was cold. I didnt drop it!?

i had my iphone 5 in my pocket while i was outside, but it was cold and snowy out. i got home and took it out and when i tried turing it on it was like it didnt have battery. i have been charging it for abou 1 hour or so. What shoul i do?

sometimes when your iphone is called or hot, it will decide on its own accord if its safe for itself to stay turned on, so it probably turned off

even if it gets to hot your phone will come up with a warning sign saying "over heated"

May be your phone have frozen. So you should keep it into normal temperature. Then charge it.
