I need quotes that Slim from Of Mice and Men said and a little bit about what is shows about Slim. The quotes can only be from the first 3 chapters as that is all we have read up to in class. I am in year 9 (8th grade) so it would help if the answers were appropriate for my age/level. Thank you for your help.

Well, actually, you are supposed to READ the first three chapters and find that material by your own efforts. That is how you learn things. A school is like an all-you-can-eat restaurant: you get to learn as much as you can or want and the price stays the same no matter what. Your parents pay taxes to support that school, and it is up to you to get value for their money.
