Should I be worried?

Right, I am 15 years old and I have no clue what I would like to do when I am older. All of my friends seem to know what they want to do when they're older but I can't decide and I don't know whether that is because they know what they need or they just do. I am in all the top sets at school so I know it's not because I'm dumb or anything and I am working at quite high grades for my age and already have some decent grades in some exams I've done.
The thing is I'm not really sure what you need to get a job or what I could get even if I don't know what I want to be when I'm older, if that makes any sense at all. For example next year I will have finished all of my exams and have to choose my A levels for sixth form but I don't want to choose ones which will be completely irrelevant to what job I want to be doing but I don't even know what job I want to do so it's like a vicious circle. I have always wanted to do A levels in Biology, Sociology, English Language and Chemistry and then go onto to an entrepreneurship of some sort before going to university but then again I don't actually known if this is any good at all without even knowing what I am going to be doing when I'm older, please help.

( When I do come up with ideas of what I'd like to do when I'm older I always feel although I'm copying of my friends with what they would like to do, so that puts me off. )

Do not worry.You have plenty of time,and you may get an idea of what you would be good at and enjoy if you ask for the Minnesota Multi-Purpose exam, a test combining personality with interests and best abilities. Your guidance counselor can give it to you.

Hey, don't worry so much. Take it slowly and don't rush things... I can't tell you what to pick because I'm not you. If you feel like you are copying your friends,  think about it... Will your friends think that you are copying them and get offended by it?  If they do, explain that this is your passion. Hope this helped! Good luck!

I had/have the same problem. My advice would be to talk to your school counselor and ask to take a vocational placement test. This will help narrow things down by looking at your interests, your personality type, and many different areas of your life. It seems like there are so many different options for careers, and it can be paralyzing to try and choose only one. You need to pick something you can see yourself doing for the rest of your life and most importantly be happy doing it. I say money comes second here. You spend about 1/3 of your life working so you better love the career you choose, making loads of money should be secondary. Also, make a list of pros and cons, then choose one and just go for it. Indecision is the worst possible outcome. You're so young now, and choosing something now and going for it will also open doors for other things in case you end up unhappy with your first choice.  Fear and overanalyzing things are your worst enemy in this situation, so don't let it paralyze you. Choose SOMETHING and go for it...even if you're a garbage truck driver, be the best damn garbage truck driver in the world!
