Hi!
I am an apprentice in an IT operating company now and this I will be for 2 years to come. Working on support now with a number of other consultants, and will soon transfer to the operating department. What I'm curious about is what certificates I should take forward to stay in the IT world? Heard that cloud-based solutions will be the future, so maybe something with Azure?
Some tips on what I can focus on in the future in the IT world?

I would not ask a site like this.
You are working in an IT dept for heavens sake! Make use of it and go to the seniors who have the most experience and ask them what you should be focusing on.
Go to you college and talk to the career guidance counselor about where IT is headed and what you should be studying.
