What is involved in giving my daughter custody of her brother?

Details:

I live in Alabama. She lives in Tennessee. There are better opportunities for my son. We want to do it legal way so everything is done right.

You don't mention the ages of your daughter and your son. Assuming your daughter is an adult and your son is a minor I would just look at establishing her as a temporary guardian which I believe is just a matter of paperwork.

Yes she is 28 and he is 12. Thanks I will look into the temporary guardian paperwork. We're trying to keep it simple.
