... I'm not a big fan of Justin Bieber and One Direction, but I thought it would be really cool if I got one of them to sing for my friend's birthday. They don't have to go to my friends party, but they can make a video singing happy birthday to her. I know this is a weird question, but can it happen? Can they make a video just to sing happy birthday to my friend saying their name also? Could I talk to them on on email, facebook, and twitter about this?

I've heard of celebrities doing private parties but, like with anything, they won't do it out of the goodness of their heart. You'll need to pay for it. The problem is, when they play a large arena, they may make several hundred thousand pounds / dollars / euros and so they come to think of their time as worth that. You'd need to compensate them for their time in the same way. If you offered a million, I think any of them would agree to attend your birthday.
Aww that's too bad. Btw my birthdays tomorrow. February 21.
